It was a real pleasure working with Sophie on planning an extensive renovation of our flat. Sophie is tremendously creative (presenting innovative ideas that would never have occurred to us) but also extremely practical - pointing our various constraints that could complicate the build and add cost. Sophie was transparent about all of her fees, so there were no surprises and was even extremely helpful in securing contractors and estimates. A brillant sense of volumes, circulation and light. Sophie had the inventive idea to open up a wall to create a crossing appartement, allowing a great perspective from one side to the other; enlarging the space and playing with the sun, with the double exposure. Amazing talent to transform a partitioned 70 flat into a sleek, efficient and happy living space.

We have consulted Sophie in the context of the contemporary renovation of a period country house. Sophie took the time to understand our constraints, our way of life, and our aspirations for this project. She captured and highlighted to us the main challenges of light, space, volume and circulation, while being a very pragmatic advisor for materials and technology solutions. A very special treat was a live collaborative design session where we pushed the boundaries of our project. This allowed us to solve a circulation issue that we previously believed insurmountable, and her professionalism and enthusiasm gave us the confidence to go ahead with an ambitious transformation

Sophie worked with us on the design of a refurbishment project in a flat. She quickly understood our aims and priorities and took them on board in her proposal. What was even more impressive was Sophie's ability to work with the space constraints and to optimise the use of light. We first met Sophie at the NEC 'Grand Designs' show when we where looking for ideas to help in updating the cottage we had just bought. Her infectious enthusiasm for our project led us to consult her privately. Her help has proved invaluable in the final outcome: the welcome 'yes you can', the 'I really wouldn't advise that' and most importantly 'don't forget what you bought and why'. All the advice we received, both in the form of sketches, costings and explanations was extremely well thought out and professionally presented. Highly recommended.
