It's a short but steep walk to the Mausoleum. I visited on a sunny day so the ground was firm. I can imagine it's hard going when it's been wet. It's an impressive structure, worth a visit if you are in the area, it's 5 minutes from the caves so do them together. The view from the top is very scenic.
