Our dog loves to visit Nigel, she practically runs to his house. We know she is always well cared for and Nigel sends us regular updates from their outings or her fun in the garden with her other doggy friends. She recently boarded for the first time and she had the most fun and was all looked after. We would not hesitate to recommend.

Nigel is not just an average dog sitter. Hes educated himself on dog behaviour and positive reinforcement. My two and half years old Cavapoo is very attached to me and was scared of bigger size dogs. Hes been with Nigel for two months now and Ive noticed hes much calmer and confident around other dogs, specially larger size dogs (Nigel only sits small/medium dogs). Now, instead of dragging him, he runs towards Nigels house happily. He even recognised him in the park and ran to him for a kiss and cuddle. Im very lucky Ive found Nigel and his beautiful family. Hes one of the best things happened in my doggys life

Disclaimer. We DO NOT condone violence, or revenge. HOWEVER, this person's lack of integrity and conscience made us feel obliged to share the truth so YOU can make a fully informed decision. If you feel this is the right place for your dog, we respectfully understands. If not, trust your instincts, especially that of your dog and RETHINK. He loses our dog on Fri, 14th Jan and has not been in touch since 12:50pm, Sat, 15th Jan. Our dog has attended day care since 3 mths old and is walked mainly off-leads. He is highly food motivated and good on recalls. Previous carer migrated hence looked for a suitable replacement. 8th Jan, 'meet and greet'. Approx. 40mins. 13th Jan: 1st Trial. Received video of our dog sat with his back to a door, tail between legs, shaking. He also soiled himself indoors. Our dog is very well socialised and this has never happened anywhere we've taken him. A 2nd trial was suggested via Whatsapp (which was actually what is mentioned in the contract) but changed his mind at pick up 2 hrs later. He pushes for a full boarding the next day. Feeling uncomfortable, we informed we'd be in touch later that day. 14th Jan: 1st 1/2 Day Boarding (4 hrs). On dropping off, several dogs came hurtling towards the door when opened. I put my body in front of the door to avoid any escaping. Nigel turned around and yelled at the kids for having left the "in-between" door opened. 11:56am: Messaged via Whatsapp asking us to call. We called ASAP (11:59am) and was informed he had lost our dog. He was adamant it had JUST happened and he was lost on entrance into Crane Park. 4:30pm: Lost contact with carer. 5:00pm: We arrived at Lisbon Ave. He was home and explained his phone had died. Completely understandable. We asked again, 'What actually happened?!' . He replied to the effect of, he was by Crane Park, swapping from a short to long lead by unhooking the short lead before hooking on the long lead and our dog jolted and bolted. The harness in which our dog had on, contains 4 different hooks plus that on his collar, where multiple leads could've been added if needed. He went on to berate that 1) We had told him our dog had a good recall 2) Our dog was food motivated. In his words that evening, stood inside his front door "I can tell you from today, that he does not". He then went on to explain that "they" had a STAND-OFF by his drive, for 10 mins that morning. He also mentioned that "He (our dog) knows we're trying to CATCH HIM, but he just wouldn't come". Asked what the next plan of actions were, he responded: "I supposed we will have to wait". Asked "Wait.. For...? What?". His reply: "I supposed we will have to wait and see if someone finds him tonight". He continued to mention, "I was out with the dogs this morning and it was -3". Note: I work just 5 mins drive from him (our dog was witnessed running towards my work place and I could've been there during the 10 mins long stand off) Note: Above version differs to what we were first told. Below is a recollection just minutes after the first phone call we had with him. On arrival, not only does he says it "JUST HAPPENED", he also pointed to the street in which our dog ran off (some 200m from his drive). When asked how and where it happened, he pointed towards his drive saying "Here". That he was swapping leads when it happened. 15th Jan, Sat, 6:54am: We have had no contact from him all night. We Whatsapp'ed asking to please let us know what time and where he'll be searching for our boy. 9:02am: 1st contact from him. Suggests he walked near his home the night before. 12:50pm: Last contact from him. Said he had spent the morning looking, working on the theory our dog was finding his way home. We had invited him to join a huge search organised for Sun, 16th Jan and to download an App so we know what areas he had covered to maximise ground coverage. No response. The lack of professionalism, conscience and subsequent attempt to delete a GENUINE REVIEW is UNACCEPTABLE.

Nigel has been absolutely amazing with our dog Paddy- he was nervous and reactive towards other dogs he didnt know since lockdown started, before he started to regularly go to WTDC. Within a few weeks he was beginning to learn to interact positively with other dogs and his confidence has increased, he loves the company of other dogs now and actively engages in play instead of trying to dominate. Nigel has the utmost respect and priorities in place, he understands and cares about the dogs he looks after and its so comforting to know that paddy now enjoys going to day care. We totally trust Nigel and are so grateful for the effort he has put in with building Paddys confidence and character - Nigel Is reliable and trustworthy and I have no hesitation in recommending him.
