The food was delicious and the waitress Rachael was amazing, very energetic, pleasant, friendly and helpful. Her service was excellent and because of her service we want to go back more.

Pleasant surroundings, good food but unfortunately there was a background smell of burnt fish which rather spoilt the occasion hence the 4 stars. Service was good, our waitress friendly and helpful. I had beef bourgignon and it was superb, tender, tasty and a good sized portion. There was a mixup with my daughter in law's meal, but it was resolved amicably and speedily. The desserts were also very good. Everything was eaten, always a good sign of satisfaction. If it wasn't for the strong smell of fish most certainly a 5 star experience. Will go again.

The food was fantastic. The waiters were excellent - knowledgeable and friendly. Brilliant service.

The sea bream was basic and mundane although nice, the treacle sponge was average and lemon added nothing to the dish and had little cream. Feels like it wants to be fine dining but Isnt there yet: a very average pub with overpriced food.
