It's now standard to wait 2 hours for a simple blood test. Why not just have 50% booked appointments and 50% drop in to stop alll this wasted time. People do have other things to do with their time!

I used the walk in blood test service at Queen Mary's and I have to say I was very impressed. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly and the place was very clean. Beth, which was the nurse that took my blood test was great ! I have needle phobia and Beth made me feel at ease and didn't even realise when she took my blood. I strongly recommend this service.

So poorly run. Lack of management training results in poor service time and time again. Arrived at hospital within an hour of the scheduled closing time for their phleb service and I find a hand written note on the ticket machine for bloods. Why cant they use a software ticketing service like other hospitals to save wasted time and effort trekking all this way. Or- just stick to their opening hours listed online?

Had an MRI scan on my knee. Painless, easy and hopefully will help find a practical, pain-free solution
