We bought this device for my mother in Devon who suffers with dementia. It has been a life saver communicating with her and her carers from far away. Its simple to use and Graham's online support is first rate. We spent a long time looking at different options for mum but this system doesn't require mum to press anything or remember anything. It's amazing. We even talked to the paramedics while they were assessing mum after she felt unwell. Everyone who uses the system thinks it's a great idea and should be more widely used.

We love CallGenie. We recently made the purchase to help my dad as he is living by himself many many states away. This device is excellent. Tech support has been exceptional. They helped me get it set up before I had to leave the state the next day.

The CallGenie lives up to its name - the receivers TV is magically connected to the sender via Skype. It does not matter if the TV is on or off, the receiver does nothing - everything happens automatically. When the sender ends the call the TV returns to its original configuration (off or on and on the original station and input device). From the senders end it is a simple as placing a Skype call (no fees even internationally). The system is not plug and play - it requires intermediate level knowledge of computers and television with excellent setup and support from the inventor but for me it appears to be time and money well spent.

Highly recommended! Appliance is not available for purchase in the U.S. due to Brexit, but I was able to easily put it together with the list provided by Smart Life, and ordered everything on Amazon. I was unable to locate any other solution that 1) wasn't tied into social media/big tech and 2) didn't require my elderly father with dementia to remember how to work an electronic device or remote. It works brilliantly; all of the staff at his memory care unit are impressed also. Graham was very helpful in helping as needed to get everything setup and working properly!
