We purchased some fudge from this shop at the cost of 4:99 alottt of money for some fudge but it was Mersea related so we purchased it, we paid with a 20 note and got 15 change and a rather strange look from the European lady because shed short changed us, so it cost us 5 to then get it home and find out it was 3 weeks out of date unfortunately wed already presented the gift. Trading standards have been informed as I dont believe this to be an accident and theyre intentionally selling out of date products vile company

Lovely shop for all your seaside goodies - buckets, spades, beachball - groceries and newspapers run by a charming young lady and a stone's throw from the beach. Well worth a visit for anyone visiting Mesea Island.
