Residence Interior Design

In 2018 we took on the conversion of a derelict agricultural building, and we interviewed 6 or 7 designers to work alongside our architect before meeting Stephen. We knew immediately that he was head and shoulders above the others we had met. He initially impressed with his ability to re-imagine the space as a dwelling, and he exceeded expectations in every respect: he is highly competent and professional, thoughtful, knowledgeable, creative, and detail oriented. Stephen advised on modifications and upgrades to our flat in Lambeth, on the recommendation of the building manager. We were not disappointed. The work required a licence from the landlord, and building regs approval: he was very helpful on both. We already had a good idea of what we wanted to do, but Stephen added many other creative suggestions, steered us to sensible choices in sanitaryware, introduced us to an excellent builder and managed the project throughout. Very satisfied.

Stephen assisted us with the interior design of aspects of a contemporary new build project. In particular, he helped us to better visualise how spaces might be used and suggested some feature aspects for the house, providing both pictures and samples. I also valued Stephen as a "sounding board" where I had ideas of my own. I would not hesitate to recommend Stephen.

Stephen assisted us with various parts of our complete house refurbishment as we went through the project. The architects package had given us the basic layout but when it came making some of those spaces practically work as well as add some sense of interior design Stephens help was invaluable. He enabled us to rethink some areas of space planning and with subtle adjustments to the original ideas he turned our plans into something really special. Of particular note was the work Stephen did with our two quite awkward and small bathroom spaces. His attention to the perfect arrangement of these spaces and his understanding of how the details really makes a difference has made these bathrooms both superbly practical and a joy to use, and thats not to mention Stephens direction on products and finishes which added the design gloss we were looking for. Stephens design talent, practical knowledge and experience made the difference in everything he helped us with, from space planning and design, to technical advice and product selection. Not only was it a successful partnership, it was an enjoyable one too, so I have no doubts at all in recommending his services.
