The Fish & Chip Shop

(Summary: Recommended, but heed the warning about grease and lack of variation within sizes.) Very good service, standard waiting time of about 10-35 mins and very good food. The only issue I seem to have is the restricted sizing, sometimes making you order more than you would like to have at one time. The amount of grease on the food is also quite indescribable, having blotted my chips grease still continued to drip from them. If you want to order food, please order slightly less than you'd seem to want as the portions are quite big.

Huge and tasty sausages, pie was amazing and being a northern girl I am soooooo fussy about gravy - the gravy in this place is amazing (thick and flavoursome). Will definitely come again!

Very slow service (25 mins for battered sausage and chips) charged for large chips when asked for small, got it home and the grease was horrifying. I know its a fish and chip shop but everything sodden in grease. 2 people waiting for food even longer than I was. Would not recommend. Tried it when it first opened and also today; this is the last time. Ill stick with A&D.
