HF Holidays Ltd, West Lulworth House

Grossly unwelcoming, unless youre already booked! Stopped in Lulworth for a few hours to check out the area. Years gone by someone I once worked with ran this hotel and when I mentioned I would be down in the area they said I should check it out for future reference. Unfortunately, we were abruptly told, having made it only a few feet away from the entrance, that we were not allowed access. We mentioned a future booking and again, abruptly, told the hotel closes down in October (not that I ever mentioned when I was interested in booking for)! The point was arrogantly made that this hotel is private, for walking groups only, no effort was made to establish whether I was actually part of a walking group (I am), and no customer service was offered whatsoever save for being directed to the brochure! Sorry, but if thats how it is, I think myself and my walking group will book elsewhere, hope you get your staffing issues sorted soon HF Holidays (as reported on BBC radio and via the constant emails you can now kindly stop sending me!)
