The Old Barn

(Translated by Google) We stayed 4 nights in this B&B with 10 hiking friends during our trekking along the Swcp. Great location, nice rooms, friendly welcome and fantastic breakfast. We were very lucky to be able to stay here. (Original) We verbleven met 10 wandelvrienden 4 nachten in deze B&B tijdens onze trekking langs het Swcp. Prima locatie, mooie kamers, vriendelijk onthaal en fantastisch ontbijt. We waren heel gelukkig hier te kunnen logeren.

Everything was of the highest standard , clean , comfortable and a truly wonderful breakfast with delicious fresh fruit , yoghurt and cereal before your variation of a full English, as well as muffins ! Perfect location for Lulworth Cove just a very short downhill walk, but away from the busyness . My husband and I had a 4 night stay and were delighted , being on the mature side a comfy bed and comfy seats are important , the room was light and spacious and we were welcome to be in the room during the day so we could rest and read a book after all those hill climbs before going out later . We were also welcome to sit or eat in the garden so didn't have to be out all day . Having our own fridge was really handy so we could picnic or make sandwiches .We cannot fault a single thing and thoroughly recommend the Old Barn , we will be back .

We spent a weekend at The Old Barn over the Easter break and could not have had a better time! We were down for a friends wedding but were able to make the most of Lulworth because of the great location of Old Barn - just a few mins walk from the cove. The breakfast was lovely and we had smoked salmon and choice of eggs every morning / veggie fry up and a spread of cereals and fruit. As well as that, the hospitality of the family that run the B&B is amazing, and the wee granny and granda were soooo sweet. They went out of their way to make our stay - pre wedding disaster they provided us with glue for my broken shoe. I looked great at the wedding so it was well worth it. If you need a taxi theres a geordie who lives nearby

A perfect gem of a B&B as were the hosts! So comfortable, homely and extremely welcoming. Perfect room with breathtaking views of the garden and church in the distance. A hearty fresh breakfast to set you up for the day. Sarah is a wealth of knowledge of the area and can recommend beautiful places to visit. Enjoyed our chats at breakfast Sarah.
