Choosing the right tutor for our daughter to prepare her both academically and emotionally for the new CEM Eleven Plus Examination was a daunting experience initially. We wanted a tutor that had excellent pastoral experience, as well as a sound knowledge of the Eleven Plus system, so our daughter felt completely confident and thoroughly prepared to sit her exams. Nicky was recommended to us and from our initial telephone enquiry we knew immediately we had made the right decision for her to tutor our daughter. With such an extensive knowledge of the entire process, not to mention her professionalism, enthusiasm and support, Nickys carefully prepared programme meant that we could see our daughter thrive with the work set for her. When the time came for her to sit the exams she was calm and completely ready to embrace the two papers. We are delighted to say she passed the Eleven Plus with flying colours and we cannot recommend Nicky Hale highly enough to other parents.

Choosing Nicky for tutoring our son was the best decision we had made. She was a amazing tutor and friendly person. Throughout the 11+ preparation her support was tremendous and kept him motivated. Her teaching techniques were brilliant and she provided us with some excellent materials. She instantly identified the areas he lagged and made him gain confidence in those areas. The mock exams really gave him a exam like experience and helped him with his timing. Our son passed his 11+ exam with good score. As parents we had lots of queries about the exam and she was always there to help us.We are really thankful to Nicky for all her support through out the journey.

Nicky is such an amazing tutor, we couldnt wish for more for tutoring our son for the 11 plus. Makes learning fun and keeps the children so engaged and cares so much about giving the children the best chance. Shes always on hand for any advice too, I cant recommend enough, just brilliant!!
