        1st time in this pub, but certainly not the last. Great older style of pub which I love. Fabulous beers, Brimstage Trappers Hat and Ossett brewery White Rat, both superb. Very friendly boss.

        Brilliant pub and a great start to my first visit to the Wirral. Friendly staff and cleintele, the Irish night musicians were excellent, and best of all, Woodfordes (Norfolk Brewery) Wherry on tap, which is always nice to see as a Norfolk boy living up north! I'd definitely visit again.
