The gallery is a wonderful tribute to a fantastic poet. As you walk in you can see a large display cabinet with lots of interesting artifacts from the war. There are larger items from the war that really give you a sense of what Owen must have seen and used. Even a uniform. On the walls is a lot of information about Wilfred Owen's life. Key moments with lots of images. There is a wealth of information and I was very impressed. One thing that really stood out was the original artwork based on the poet or on related themes. They really have to be seen! From models and sculptures to paintings and tiles. This gives a real sense that it is an ongoing exploration of the impact Owens work has made on peoples lives.
