Off The Ground Theatre

What an outstanding evening for my first experience of Shakespeare live! Love's Labour's Lost from Off The Ground Theatre was fantastic, we enjoyed every minute off it. With an abundance of talented actors and a fantastic direction the adaptation of this comedy was truly and utterly, enjoyable fun. We highly recommend it and we are looking forward to more! Ol!

We saw Midsummers Night Dream at Gawthorpe Hall, sat in the pouring rain, watching an outstanding cast perform in the most difficult of conditions. The phrase The show must go on, was exemplified. It is a sign of the skills of the cast that I forgot that I was sat in a pacamac, under an umbrella and cover, and was transported to a world of magic and comedy. I cannot praise the cast enough.

Very disappointed in their lack of communication. Bought two adult tickets and a child's ticket but was unable to attend due to a family emergency. Emailed to ask if I could see an alternative performance or get a refund- a month later and still no response. Edited to say thank you very much for responding to my review (still not sure why my emails never arrived) and refunding me for the tickets we were unable to use. Hopefully next summer...
