Ive been having lessons with Dave just over a year now, he will take you through all aspects of learning the instrument and his music theory is un paralleled. I started on the Saxophone as an adult beginner having come from the Bass so I had some underlying knowledge but the learning curve was still steep, but Dave will tailor the lessons for what you want and will make sure you get there as long as you put the graft in. I decided to start to play the saxophone at the beginning of this year, with no previous musical background. You can consider me to be a mature student, so quite a challenge for Dave. He has diligently taken me through the basic steps and has continued to be extremely encouraging. I have become much more confident over the months and even though I would still be considered a novice, I really enjoy the sessions with Dave and look forward to improving in the coming months / years.

I couldn't think of a better guy to teach me how to play the saxophone. He's very talented, know's what he is talking about. Extremely friendly. Patient. Will adapt lessons in order to get the best out of you as a student. He really does go the extra mile. And I couldn't fault him. Really is a top bloke and an amazing teacher. I would highly reccomend Dave as a go to teacher. Really brings that extra bit of class to learning. Thanks mate! Also great value for money it really is!

I have had regular jazz saxophone lessons with Dave over the last 2 years. He's an excellent and knowledgeable teacher. He has loads of resources for teaching and tailors his lessons well to my particular needs. He's very reliable and I would recommend him to anyone beginner or more advanced student.
