        Fantastic meal, tapas and pasta with a friend on a Monday lunchtime. Staff friendly and helpful and really good value for money. Food delicious and plentiful, tapas actually better than in Spain.

        All these positive reviews must have been written in an auto-suggestive effort to avoid feeling ripped off. Or the standards in the Wirral are really low. The place is seriously underwhelming. Lots of fuss for tiny portions of student food of the blandest kind. The person who cooks them never heard of seasoning. And they make "economies" with ingredients. The mediterranian meatballs in romesco sauce was basically two balls of breadcrumbs sitting in a puddle of ketchup. Any fast food restaurant will give you better value. Tellingly, one third of reviews at Tripadvisor rate the place as Poor or Terrible.
