West Horndon Surgery

Praising the staff and GP at the surgery this morning. After a phone consultation my son was invited to the surgery for an assessment by the GP and was prescribed antibiotics. I phoned at 8am for an appointment and walked out of the surgery with my son at 9.20am having seen the GP and received antibiotics. A fantastic service during difficult times. Thank you.

I have found the receptionist here to be extremely rude and unhelpful and today I spent 45 minutes waiting to get through only to be cut off when it was my turn. A very frustrating and unpleasant experience. Dr. Davies however I have found to be very helpful and efficient.

More than one week I cannot take appointment to review my mom results! Every day there is a different reason. I have been told to call after 3pm and I called many times with zero result. I went to reception desk to ask to give me as soon as possible opportunity to speak to the doctor and the story was the same. I hope somebody will read this comment and will take an action asap as it is really painful to see every day how your mom suffers from pain and nobody cares.

For over a month now I have been trying to get a medication review. On the odd occasion when I have managed to through told to ring back at 2pm. At 8am and 2pm I am at work and cannot be sitting on hold forever, this is ridiculous. Cant get an appointment online either. Also for a number of years they have asked to correct the spelling of my name which is still not done and as due to start traveling again for work will cause me major problems. If I could give a minus review thats what it would be.
