THE WORST SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN TO - UGLY NAILS AND RUDE STAFF, AVOID: I walked into the salon and showed them a reference photo (see below), which they agreed they could do. I understood that the reference photo showed nail extensions, but I just wanted the same design as well as a white french tip. The french tip looked fine, but the rest of the nail art looked like a child had done it. It was really messy, you couldn't even see the star detail, and the dots were far too big in comparison to the reference. The gel wasn't applied very close to the nail bed either, so it already looks like they have grown out. They charged me an extra 20 for so-called "nail art", costing 40 in total for just gel nail polish. I didn't really know what to do, I knew I wasn't happy with the way they looked, but I paid and headed back home. As soon as I saw them properly outside I realised how bad they really looked, I gave the salon a call and said that I wasn't happy because they didn't look anything like the photo. The woman on the phone told me to come back to the salon. I walked back in and asked if she could improve them, refund me or just get rid of the nail art and do plain gel. She was extremely rude to me and said that my nails looked the same as the ones in the reference photo, and point blank refused to do anything. She said that I had asked for the colours used - but if she knew that she wouldn't be able to replicate the design with those polishes, then she should have advised something different. She then sat back down with another client, and as I was asking her questions she completely ignored me and didn't even look at me. I asked again if she could just take the nail art off, and she finally agreed to do it at a later time. As soon as I asked for the white tip (just a normal french manicure) she repeatedly said "I can't believe this, I can't believe this" and was rolling her eyes at her colleagues. I had such a bad experience with this salon, that I didn't bother returning. I felt so embarrassed, and I don't think they were even capable of fixing them anyway. I'm really upset because I wanted these done for a special occasion, and they didn't turn out how I was hoping they would. I would definitely not go back to this salon. The workers in here need to learn a thing or two about customer service, and maybe consider other lines of work. I find calling this nail art, offensive.
