Fisherfield Childcare

Looking for a nursery place for your little one can be a challenging time. I have done some viewings myself and felt a bit undecided - until I made the appointment at Firsherfield Childcare at Derby Street in Heywood. Already making the appointment for viewing felt somehow different. I could not wait to meet the nursery manager and see the setting itself. The viewing experience was amazing, everything fully explained and all my question were answered. This place just looked like to be the right one! There is a promo video on the website, the children and staff look just so happy and I can now confess that this is genuine atmposphere in the nursery. With no hesitation I was interested in booking a place for our boy. Registration process absolutely superb with fantastic communication from the nursery. When we started settling sessions, we were introduced to the key worker, we were given plenty of material and access to information what the learning curriculum will be. I am so pleased with this nursery, it feels you are not bringing you child just somewhere for them to be taken care of, this is an amazing learning opportunity and I am really proud as a parent that my child can spend some time here. After only few settling sessions, the nursery confirmed that he is now ready to participate on his sessions. My son absolultey loves going there and between his days off he keeps asking when he can go again. What a testament to the first class care he is being given there. I really look forward to seeing his progress in the next few years. So I don't forget, they also have an online parent zone portal where are daily updates with pictures of activities and brief description how each day was. You can tell that the nursery staff puts a lot of effort into these updates, that's really appreicated! If you are a parent looking for a good nursery in Heywood, I can very much recommend here.

The team, ethos and supportive environment at Derby Fisherfield is very heart warming. Great facilities and dedicated staff. We cant praise all the ladies enough for all their work with our son. Alexander has developed a lot through different activities, stimulating environment with a homely feel and caring, professional staff. Outstanding care. Highly recommend to other parents seeking the best early education and care for their child.

I can honestly say this nursery is definitely the best in Heywood. I have had experienced most with our eldest daughters and I can honestly say I wish they also attended this one. The staff go above and beyond for all the children and the hygiene is fabulous . I would definitely recommend to anyone whos looking for a nursery to please try this one first.

Weve had our daughter at Fisherfield childcare for over 5 months now (she was roughly 7 months old when she started) and the team there is amazing. They really look after the children the same way they would like theirs to be looked after. Communication is great with parents and also between the members of staff so any information you share with one member on your child, you know it will be passed onto the others. Every week there is a different theme (communicated the week before, stressing the book and song of the week for instance ) with plenty of activities, that also change from one week to another. Progression of the children is monitored and parents get regular progress reports that can be discussed in more details with the team. There is an app that allows parents to receive pictures throughout the day, but also to check info related to their children and other communications. We highly recommend the Derby Street Fisherfield Childcare. The fact that our daughter is happy to go there everyday and smiles when seeing the key workers is testament to the great job (and care) the Derby Street team does.
