Wasted 10 and most of a day waiting for an urgent parcel. The driver made no attempt to deliver and marked it as unable to deliver as nobody home, along with submitting a picture of the inside of his pocket for some reason. Now i have to cancel all my plans tomorrow at additional cost of both time and money. Don't waste your time trying to reason with this company, customer service number gets you an automated message and the webchat operator I tried to communicate with said they were closed (contrary to what their website said) and closed the chat. Save your money and time by avoiding DPD

I had a parcel out for delivery,stayed in and waited. Got an update to say the driver er had missed me and won't be back till Monday. What a pack of lies. No one called and I'm not happy with the level of service

DPD lied about having attempted delivery, could see no attempt on video doorbell. Called and they confirmed driver had been nowhere near my house and had just tried to dump it at a pick up point even though I had selected a safe place and had not authorised a pick up point. They pick up point was closed so it was taken back to the depot. They promised it would be delivered to my house the next day-they took it straight to the pick up point. I called again and they refused to help and said no email had been sent to the depot the day before as promised. DPD lied to me twice, once faking delivery, and once promising to email and sort this out. Ive also recently had 3 separate parcels dumped on my doorstep on a busy street after leaving instructions to leave them in the back garden where they wouldnt be stolen. I even left please do not leave on doorstep in capitals on the last one. Driver dumped it on doorstep. Seems DPD drivers can do what they want with no consequences.
