I was given a no fault eviction, and have since had to use any incoming funds to keep a roof over my head. I've been staying in hotels and hostels and using loans, advances and any credit I have to fund this - and London is super expensive. I've discussed my temporary situation with job centre staff, council staff and my local MP. Overall, they were sympathetic towards me, and understood my position. I worked very hard to attend three Freshview Estates viewings in a week. I submitted myself for them as I needed accommodation rather quickly. I went to their offices and was upfront about my situation. I waited for over an hour while Freshview staff forwarded my details to an unseen manager via email. I was then told that I would have to wait three days while the landlord of all of the different properties I saw, made a decision about me. Later that week my case worker told me that I wouldn't be chosen for the Freshview properties I liked because Freshview were concerned that I was "keeping rent from my previous property". My council-assigned housing worker was stunned. All of my funds have gone towards paying for accommodation due a situation I had zero control over. My previous landlord can be contacted to confirm that I owe him no money. I had to ask my case worker if I was racially profiled. I believe that I was. After repeatedly trying to contact them about their misinformed judgement, I have since received no explanation for their response, and I have received no apology. I think I dodged a bullet by sidestepping a company who would come to that kind of conclusion about *anyone* after hearing the details of their situation. Freshview Estates are amaturish, insensitive and unprofessional. There are other reviews on here that speak about Freshview in a racist or sense of superiority context. Well, I was dealing with Freshview for a while - and I'd agree with those reviews.
