Macchiato Bar

Having been served and the waitress brought the coffee to our table, I was sitting with my 80 year old mother and my tiny toy poodle. At no time had we been told dogs were not allowed. Suddenly we were asked to leave because of the dog. There had been nothing said as we ordered or as we sat down, or were served our drinks. There is no point allowing dogs in to Brent x if you are not allowed to sit in a common area of the shopping centre. The staff were rude and showed absolutely no common sense or compassion. To turn an old lady away when she had already sat down and been served is beyond belief. Obviously I respect rules of cafes but the fact that we had been served and seen on numerous occasions and to send a pensioner away mid drink is outrageous.

Weve been coming here since the macchiato bar opened (when it really was bar). It was the best place for coffee in London at the time with a barista that was passionate about coffee and customers. It has since steadily gone down hill and has become too big for its own good. The place is overcrowded, the staff are rude and are bad at prioritising orders so it can take you up to 15mins to get a simple espresso! The coffee is decent but youll have a far better experience at one of the nearby Neros or Starbucks coffee shops.
