I was with David at Star Driving School for just under 2 months and I passed! Made me feel at ease, and gave me the confidence that I have been lacking, very good teacher. He had good chat and was a down-to-earth man with a good sense of humour. I couldn't recommend him enough! Thank you, David for all your support and help ! :)

I would definitely recommend Star Driving School. Dave has a calming and patient nature which I have found very useful in calming my nerves as a learner driver. He uses diagrams to illustrate how to tackle roundabouts, junctions and manoeuvres, to name a few. His thorough approach to driving lessons not only got me test ready but also confident in my ability to drive safely upon passing. I am pleased to say that I passed first time with one minor! I can't thank you enough for all your help Dave.

Dave has just finished teaching my second child to drive. He was recommended to me by a friend and had taught both of her children. Due to lockdowns Dave has taught my son on and off for a year and a half. I couldn't have been happier with my choice of driving instructor. Dave is very calm and thorough. I took my son out for additional driving practice and was amazed by how proficient and safe he was after only a few lessons. I liked the information book that Dave provided and how this encouraged reflection between practical lessons. He is very approachable and easily contactable. I feel his prices are fair in the current market. Dave has shown a high regard for safety during the pandemic. I really can't think of any faults and my son thoroughly enjoyed his lessons.
