The Blue Bowl Inn

Went to the blue bowl on a Sunday for lunch with my family, for the first time with the new ownership, I was on a table next to a family that has made complaints. The family told me if I was you, dont bother ordering and having food here I was a bit unsure whether to eat there, but I thought Id give it a go and Im so glad I did as the service and the food was absolutely amazing. I will be returning!!

Went for a meal today for my wifes birthday and I must say it was the worst service I have ever received. A member of staff confronted us and was incredibly rude after a meal had been sent back for being cold. It had been microwaved and returned even after we had asked politely for a new meal to be brought out. It was a very disappointing experience, wholly unacceptable and unnecessary when it could have been so simply resolved.

Food & drinks: Poor quality food, quantity is good but if you can have too much of a good thing, you definitely dont want too much of a bad thing! When one meal was returned (politely) for being cold, it was brought back in the same state it left a minute later having been microwaved! When this was disputed (again, politely) we had a member of staff come over to say we were rude? I could not believe we were being spoken to like this. It was my birthday and we were all in happy moods and not too worried about the quality of the food (which wasnt great), but when the response to a minor complaint was dealt with aggressively, I cannot recommend such a place or stay. I asked if they would rather we leave, which we did. I have never ever experienced anything like it.
