My daughter has waited almost 3 weeks for her blood test results. Every time she calls it takes around 30 min to get through, only to be told call back in a few days. Such poor service

I am SO impressed. Recently moved and looking for new GP. Not a great choice in the catchment we are in. This Practice had mixed reviews between google and NHS sites so wasnt sure - only 3+ rating (though that is more than most in the area!). Liked the modern premises and info about the GPs, so decided to register. In the event, this needed to be done urgently. This was achieved with such kindness and efficiency (particularly by Claire, and the team, who went out of their way to help us). Subsequently everyone I have had contact with have been charming and have gone out of their way to be helpful. We have yet to experience the medical side but if the GPs are as good as the front of house, then I thoroughly recommend this surgery! Thank you Claire. From Christine and Ben

This has been my GP for over 30 years but today I found out something that was well and truly the last straw. I suffer from gout but had never actually been tested for it. I had flare up in July 2021 so booked an appointment where the doctor said let's take a blood test so we can find out once and for all if it definitely is gout. Did the blood test and phoned up a few days later for the result and was told by the receptionist that it was all clear. So apparently I don't have gout (my fault that I never booked a follow-up appointment to find out what it is instead). I had a couple more flare-ups of apparently-not-gout since then but didn't go to the doctor and just decided to ride it out each time until this most recent one that really got bad on Christmas Eve. Finally decided to book an appointment today (30/12/22) and when I mentioned the all clear blood test, the doctor was extremely confused as the result on his computer showed the opposite, it wasn't all clear and I 100% had gout. So the utterly incompetent admin staff I spoke to when calling for the blood test either couldn't read the result or simply didn't check it and told me it was all clear. Either way she is a disgrace and I could have got the repeat prescription I got today a year and a half ago instead.
