Number 9 Massage Spa

I have been here 3 times. Why ? Because I Love the staff there. Always fun and reddy to joke. Recommend to go there and give it a try like I did. I also recommend better photos of the place as the photos in Google Maps are not good.

I got the best massage from Tony. He is very professional and I got a perfect treatment. I recommand this place to relax and pain relief.

(This review is either for this place or a place on the same road a few shops down). The price advertised in reception is not the real price. After I entered the seedy massage room the masseuse kept telling me to pay her tips because she makes no money from the money paid to reception and because she "is so poor". She wanted $160 first for a special massage. Eventually I gave her $50 so that the massage could begin as this was not relaxing at all. A quick glance at the app she uses to collect the tips showed she is getting hundreds of pounds a day - sometimes $500 in one transaction which likely means she entered an extra zero without the customer knowing.

If you're looking for a normal & professional massage, don't go here. While my masseuse was friendly, there was a lot of inappropriate touching that I did NOT sign up for. My partner was asked 3 times if he wanted 'extra services' and 'happy ending' even after he said no several times. He had a similar experience with his masseuse engaging in inappropriate touching and they did not drape either of us. My partner first attended this place about 10 years ago and had a great, normal massage so he'd always wanted to return. When you first walk in, there's a price sign stating all the different types of massage, Thai, Swedish, Deep Tissue so you would think that's what you're getting. The spa itself didn't seem any seedier than other massage places I've been to in Thailand for example. In hindsight, maybe we should have suspected given it's a massage place in Soho. But at no point was there any communication that we were looking for a sensual massage & it was never asked if that's what we wanted, it was apparently just assumed! Avoid unless that's what you're looking for.
