Blah, Hoppers is better. So is Chettinad. Overpriced, tiny portions nestle in the gloom, blasted by intrusive music and witheringly surly service. Watch your soul drain away and your bank balance dwindle beneath the contemptuous gaze of servers who think it's such a chore to give you their precious time.

This place has gone downhill. The portion sizes have definitely reduced and not worth it for the price you pay. The food isnt as tasty and satisfying as it used to be. We ordered the lamb infused roti, scallops, monkfish, hazelnut curry, steak and a few glasses of cocktails. The scallops were stale and burnt which tasted really off, the hazelnut curry is nice but tiny portion and the monkfish isnt worth 25 for what you get. The lamb infused roti used to be my favourite but I couldnt taste any hints of lamb this time. The steak was the standout meal of the day, this was nice and flavourful In addition to the disappointing meal we had, we felt rushed off our feet. We sat by the bar this time and the waiters kept watch over us which was extremely uncomfortable, and as soon as we were done with our meal, we got the receipt and a signal to pay and get out. We spent over including food & cocktails and it was underwhelming to say the least. Ive been to Paradise a couple of times and have recommended to friends and family, but sadly I wont be returning anytime soon.

Paradise was recommended by some friends for the authentic taste they serve and we got what we expected, a flavourful evening. No doubt the taste is authentic and every dish we ordered was unique initself we really enjoyed but it was not mind blowing or something which we havent had before. The only reason for 3 stars was the ambience, I was really put off by the sitting arrangement which was not comfortable by any means near the bar, if you are having reservation of less than 3 then I guess you dont get a table sitting. The place is so cramped up and noisy that it is hard to speak in that place. That actually took out the fun as I went to celebrate my Anniversary. This place probably will have a different effect if we go in when its less crowded and if we get to sit in those comfortable cubicles. Just saying.
