Attempted to buy an over the counter medicine but the cashier decided to conduct a consultation before referring to the pharmacist and returning to recommend a combination of different products at significantly greater expense. When I asked why she was recommending more expensive products than the one I was requesting, I was advised that product was not licensed for the symptom I was describing. This was in contradiction to statements on the box, the information leaflet and advice provided by GPs in the past. I left and purchased the same medicine from Boots on Oxford Street 30 mins later. There are obviously some potentially unethical and suspect selling policies occurring at this branch. Avoid.
