An amazing care home with passionate and friendly staff. Residents enjoy a wide variety of activities, I particularly love the namesta room, so calming.

Oaklands isn't just a nursing home, it's a homely home and it's a family home with the best person centred care, great activities, loveliest care staff, great manager who really understands both residents and relatives needs and the most pleasant surroundings for residents to enjoy that I have seen. I spent 3 and a half years visiting my Mum there and being involved in her care and I can honestly say I could not have chosen a better place. Everyone becomes part of the family and the support for relatives and inclusion of them in activities so they can continue to make special memories with their loved ones is excellent. I genuinely would recommend Oaklands to anyone.

My mum went in to Oaklands in May, unable to walk or eat, Oaklands is now her home, she walks around, eats loads and does so much fun activities thanks to Erica and the lifestyle team. She has been given a new least on life and this is down to Byron (Manager) Becky (deputy) and their amazing staff. All the staff are AMAZING, they go above and beyond. One big happy family. 5 stars is not enough. Thank you for making my mum smile and enjoy life again.

The team at Oaklands House is great, they always find the time to make you feel welcomed and reassured about how everything is going. There is a real family spirit to the home and a happy atmosphere. Both residents and staff are always cheerful. Oaklands is kept warm, welcoming, extremely clean and tidy and provides its residents with various activities to become involved in.

Lovely service, very friendly and welcoming staff. Manager is amazing, very person centred. My loved one is so well cared for here. I attended a cream tea event yesterday, it was so lovely and shows how much the home cares about their residents and their families.
