Learning Hive

Learning hive have been fantastic for my childs learning, they have been incorporated into schools and luckily my child had heard about them and joined too and managed to have regular sessions and activities to learn english and maths.

At Denbigh High School, we wanted to help our students whose education has been most impacted by the pandemic using the National Tutoring Programme. We asked the Learning Hives to offer tailored tuition to support our pupils. The Learning Hives tutors deliver 15 hours tuition for small groups of students, helping our students develop study and learning skills. As a result there were some improvements in the knowledge of literary devices and analysis, as well as in the understanding of arithmetic and numeracy. An absolutely excellent service. We were offered this initiative through our school and are so pleased. The teacher was very professional and made the lessons really fun. My son would even tell me to rush home so as to not miss any of the lesson! The teacher also gave weekly progress updates and it was lovely to read them out to my child. Thumbs up all around
