El Pastor Soho

The food and drink at El Pastor are very good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Our mains came out before our drinks and we never got the appetizer we ordered, but by the time we realized it wasnt coming we were already done eating and figured it wouldnt be worth it.

I will start by saying the staff here might be the nicest in London. They are so kind, attentive and really accommodating. The tacos are good sizes and so, so good (the octopus and pork belly are excellent) and the sides are great (get the refried beans). I loved the Mezcal cocktails and the fact that everything really tastes authentic. I am a huge fan of all things Mexican (food, country, culture, music) and I felt like I was in Mexico while downstairs. Just great vibes. It is pricy but I think it's worth it. Food is great, cocktails are excellent (and strong), great ambiance and a really, really lovely group of people working there. Will definitely be back soon.
