Mr Craftsman Workshop

Fortunately I had just had a recommendation of a alternative watch repair shop in Oxford Circus station when I stepped into this shop briefly. My advice to the proprietor would be that if you have a chip on your shoulder you shouldn't work in a service industry. And my advice to anyone who wants anything done to their watch would be to avoid Mr Craftsman. Walk for five minutes to Oxford Circus (go into the No Entry stairwell at Exit 5) where you'll find cheaper, friendlier and faster service.

They wanted a minimum of 13 to change a watch battery! Just ordered two off of Amazon for 1.46. For the two minutes it took me to pop the back off of the watch, get the battery out to get the markings from it, and then put it all back together again until the battery is delivered, this seems like an awful rip off, I would have said a fiver tops! I suppose this is London!!!

The guy was extremely rude and now I can't even pick my watch, because he decided to take a day off on Saturdays despite the fact that google clearly states that store is open 8.45 am to 6 pm The whole journey to central London is now wasted.. If you can avoid using this place, please do so!
