Child Maintenance Service

What a corrupt service and useless bunch of lying horrible c***s who don't even deserve 1 star.And I'm still waiting for money they owe me since beginning of last October 2022,(which is looking like I will never get)when my payments finally stopped.Ive Sent them letters(recorded delivery) and was just ignored again,and then contacted my local MP about this useless service owing me money,but still had no joy yet.The CMS are full of lies, useless and corrupt service and seem to keep getting away with all this and treating fathers unfairly.And they have caused me a lot of unnecessary stress over the years.And they are a nightmare to contact

Very very poor service. When you call them it take at least 2 hours waiting before they answer the phone. The calculations they do arent right and I had to appeal a few time about my case because the calculations were wrong. They rejected a Mandatory Reconsideration that I asked them in November 2022 to look again. In February 2023 I called them about what they have done with M.R. that I have sent all the proofs in November 2023 and the said that they received the documents but they have done anything since November 2022. Since November 2022 they stopped the monthly payment for my son. Ive been from November 2022 to January 2023 without receiving a penny from them. I told them by phone that I really feel that you are on the side of the parent that must pay for their kids as you left my son for 3 months without receiving a penny and I had to deal with many things for my son just myself. I was so crossed with them. Also I told them if my sons dad was a responsible dad that was willing to pay and care for his son, definitely I wasnt asking you Child Maintenance to deal with my sons dad to force him to pay for his son. After they rejected my M.R. they sent a letter about the Annual Review 2022-2023 that the calculations were completely wrong so that I appealed. My rappresentative wrote them by sending all the evidence (by uploading the evidence and sending the evidence by post) where they made mistakes and asking C.M. to review again the Annual Review 2022-2023. Lets see what theyll respond this time Absolutely not happy with this service.

A very poorly run government organisation. Where do I start?.. when you call your met with around 10 minutes of pointless automated options before finally having to wait regularly 1hr before actually speaking to a so called human being. Even then your passed between departments with long waits in between. To top it all off they seem to have a discriminatory attitude towards paying parents. When basic and obvious payment calculation mistakes are pointed out to them they seem to make a very long winded process to alter the mistakes often with very little success in doing so.

Mental! Never payed a fair amount. Driven me into the dust. And I don't see my kids out of exes spite. Was security guard. Taking 450 off me. Plus I've a child I pay mother privately. So paying near 600 a month for 3. Ended up living in my car 9 months. Got rehomed eventually but through army charity. Not due to council or government. Then couldn't afford car or public transport to work. I don't even work now. Don't think I'll pay another tax in my life. I'm a nervous wreck.
