Amazing atmosphere and great music

My boyfriend and I attended a performance by TJ Johnson in the Upstairs bar, which we enjoyed immensely. There was a cool and relaxed atmosphere throughout the whole evening. The staff were helpful and polite, serving a vast array of interesting and exotic drinks. The music was fantastic too; Johnson is clearly a very talented performer who knows how to hold an audience. It was a great night and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for any music lovers.

My favourite jazz venue in London. Every visit is special; you can feel the history in the place which is only reinforced by the wonderful collection of jazz greats' photos that line all the walls. Cocktails are first class (but expensive) and food choices limited in number but well cooked. Sightlines are good and the sound engineers ensure great audio. It is a really special place -thoroughly recommended.

Great jazz club, real classic jazz night out, saw Eddie Henderson play there last month. The typical New YorK style club only in London. I just ordered a whiskey sour and enjoyed the music, went for a meal next door after the gig. Top night out!
