I came here with a group of friends for a spa day. It was definitely NOT a spa day. There was a list of things that they didnt get right. First off, its tiny, they shouldnt be even thinking about promoting it as a spa day kind of place, it should be for use for hotel guests only. This is just purely someone in management trying to bring in extra money. Second they have a relaxation room right in the reception area, where there is also a jacuzzi and, a WASHING MACHINE!!!! Actually going, in the reception area?!! Whoever thought that was a good idea, needs to reconsider. Also, theres a maintenance room where blokes are coming in and out of while youre trying to relax. Next, they very clearly couldnt co-ordinate, or manage quite a few people coming at the same time or even together for a group booking spa day. They sold the day as you being able to have some treatments and use the facilities, no where did it say we were limited to an hour, and couldnt use the facilities together. Next, was the training of the staff - who clearly thought it was ok, to just tell us, when we complained - that it was in the fine print that would only have an hour and that we would be using it not together but separately. Who goes on a spa day with their friends, to not enjoy it together? I would go on my own if I wanted to sit in a hot tub or sauna on my own. I have a gym membership where I can do this daily if I wanted. NEXT complaint - the staff who were there, although friendly, didnt seem to quite get, that already disgruntled guests, where going to be even more so, when told things like, oh you cant use that shower, because its only for people who have sugar/salt scrubs. Come on?! Let your guests use the shower. I work and have for over 25 years, in the hospitality industry, and this, was really bad. Honestly, you guys have to stop selling yourself as spa days, when you are clearly NOT equipped and your staff are blocking unhappy people at each corner and not exactly helping them feel happier. The only good thing about this was the massage, but then, straight after a massage, was the only time I was able to get access to use a steam room and sauna, who really wants to do that right after a nice treatment. I would NOT recommend you guys and nor will I bother to ever come back.
