Best cocktail bar in London, says I. Not a whole lot more to say. Can be cramped, busy, and dark, but that's not always a turn-off. Beats the Ritz and any other offerings around it. My go-to, that's me at the corner table drinking margarita.

Visited this bar recently and it definitely was the worst experience from all the Mayfair bars/restaurants we have visited . The manager was extremely rude and defensive over the food we asked for and is not acceptable in any way to be talking to their customers that way. She was bragging about the restaurant being Michelin star rated and that she would leave the job if they sold truffle fries (which we asked if they had politely). She then recommended Burrata and was trying to explain what it was to my friend in lay man words and was none of her business to interrupt and correct me at that point again showing disrespect. (Ive worked in the hospitality field and know what Buratta is.) She then brought in flat bread with pork without checking our dietary requirements..Thats 3 things in a row. We continued to enjoy our night without creating any scene but its something that should be looked in too. Thank you and wish you the best.

Everything was fine, except for the terrible and arrogant customer service provided by the manager. When we were ordering food and asked about the Burrata dish, one of my other friends was describing Burrata to us as being in the cheese category, and the manager got very defensive because she is Italian and kept aggressively telling us it's not a cheese. When we asked whether they had truffle fries, she forcefully continued repeating, "We are a Michelin Star restaurant, we don't serve fries, if we did, I wouldnt be working here," in a harsh tone. We ordered a bread selection and were given a flat bread that had pork without even mentioning it to us because we don't eat pork; when we told her we ordered a bread selection, she gave us an awful look. This is unacceptable; we are paying customers, and this is a terrible way to portray the organisation. She made us feel like we were low-status and shouldn't be here, like the ugly ducklings. It was so bad that I will never return; as the manager of a well-known bar in Mayfair ,this is not how you treat paying customers. We didn't pay 2 or 3 for our bill; we paid about 200. What a pity,
