Cone Accounting

Ben, Emily and the rest of the cone team have been extremely helpful with keeping my books upto date, guiding and advising me on how to best manage my taxes for my business. They have a very personal approach, which I've found to be very comforting. I'm pleased with the way they interact and make sure their service is 2nd to none. I started working with Cone in June 2017. Unfortunately over the years the whole team made regular mistakes with simple things like payroll to more serious errors like reconciling payments. I stuck with Cone wanting to be loyal and support a small business but in hindsight it was a big mistake. Things ended extremely unprofessionally on their behalf and we have been forced to move to a new accountant. They were supposed to complete our accounts to the end of May 2019 but of course that hasn't been done. None of the invoices Cone were supposed to send went out and our new accountant has just pointed out that NONE of the last 12 months accounts match the real figures. I now wish we'd made the move to a new accountant years ago. I am sorry to have to post this but I was incredibly disappointed after being loyal to them for so long. I do NOT recommend working with Cone unless you have a tiny, tiny business with no plans to grow.
