Wheatlands Farm

Recently changed from Wacky Warehouse to Hungry horse. Decor had been modernised and the menu now has a much broader choice than before. Food isn't spectacular but is nice and great VFM especially if you sign up to offers via email or choose the nightly special deals.

We had Sunday lunch which was awful, It was cold watery veg not cooked properly roast potatoes like rubber hard to cut the only good part was the beef, And the place was clean with polite and helpful staff, I have had a very good mid week meal at a hungry horse pub but would not recommend Sunday lunch.

Absolutely lovely service from jade, she was amazing with the kids. She was extremely busy but always made time for the kids when they had questions or wanted help. Keep the hard work up you are a credit to the wacky.

Fantastic soft play (at extra cost) attached. Unfortunately since the last time I reviewed things have seemed to go horribly wrong. The photo is of my medium - rare steak which is optimistically rare but in reality blue. It was cold and I would have sent it back at table check but there wasn't one. The staff were run ragged, a large party who were allocated 2 tables but ended up needing 5 arrived and took over. It was a shame no one mentioned this as it was impossible to get attention.
