        Great place for walking in the forest. Relatively easy access with lots of gravel pathways through the trees and around the small lake. Plenty of space for people and bicycles.

        This is a really great place to visit for all the family. In the summer the caf is open and a nice place with nice staff. The walk around the lake is lovely and fairly peaceful, unless it's the height of summer. Our fabulous forest is truly special and we love it. It is a pay and display car park, unless you have a forestry commission membership pass. They do check, so please be aware.
