        Firstly, this is not an Artisan Bakery. That word alone gives some square-pants the morale right to charge a fortune. This Bakery is the traditional heart and sole of what England used to be like. Its own brand, its own stamp. The bread is amazing, the filling in the beef pasties I could eat a saucepan full of it with some of that bakers-hat shaped bread. The pastry is delicate and moorish. Cherry Scones are light and fluffy, full of flavour. I hope this little bakery survives that new adoption of the A303. We came in on the 17th March 2023 and it was lovey to see you.

        Can't wait to come back home from Australia and go here again. Been eating their lardy cakes and jam doughnuts for almost 50 years. Must be doing something right!!!
