        Friendly enough staff, but I was told that I needed glasses for reading. However, I can read perfectly well without glasses, and the tiny text used to judge my ability to read seemed highly suspicious to me.

        I have been visiting Stokes for about 25 years. Its a family business and Tim, Richard and Nick treat every customer like a friend. The service they provide is second to none. They always take lots of care to help you make the best choices for you. They are always happy to help you if youre having some niggles e.g. your specs need adjusting. My wife and daughter are also customers. We wouldnt go anywhere else.

        Not a good experience!....after two attempts to try and get my prescription right....I ended up with my original prescription ...so I guess I DIDNT need new glasses..... expensive experience.....that's for sure.....
