I wanted a Scorpion exhaust fitting to my car, so basically just a matter of taking the stock one off and replaced with the scorpion one. Took it Spec One and guy came across and looked under the car, then had a look in the boot and checked the scorpion exhaust and said it's not for this car, he then explained that the hangars are all in the wrong places and there would be spot welding involved and I was looking at 180 for it to be swapped over. I knew 100% that the exhaust system was for the car, I took the car down the road and got another quote and it was done for 30. The hangers were in the right place just a bit of fettling to open up the linkages as it was a mid section and a back box. The guy in Spec One was the tall Asian guy with long hair and wears the black hat, I dont believe for one minute he was not experienced enough to know the exhaust wouldn't go straight on, but I believe he thought he could make money saying the hangars would have to be relocated and welded. I would not trust that cowboy! And for the sake of "making money" the only thing gained is a bad reputation. This guy would RIP anyone off. Stay clear! Or at the minimum get other quotes before committing guys.
