Absolutely disgrace of staff. Dont know how some of them got hired. Rude. I phoned 111 and THEY sent a request to the drs for me to have a EMERGENCY APPOINTMENT but when I tell them have they got the request from 111 they start saying I could of went anywhere etc and they dont have a appointment Like blaming me when it was 111 who advised this. Absolutely a useless and surprise surprise no appointments

I am absolutely disgusted at my GP service, I was given misinformation and now can't get an appointment. In agony with my jaw, neuralgia caused from a past injury and for some reason is flaring up in my old age, unsure on whether I can take certain medication due to other health conditions, and the possibility of me being pregnant, plus the medication I need I am only able to get from a GP! I seriously want to be at work, helping out, and doing my job, but this pain is unbearable and comes in waves, which brings tears, fatigue and frustration, clearly not the best condition to be in to look after the critically ill. Yet the receptionist tells me not to take anything and see a doctor, yet can't give me an appointment! It's alright love, I'll just suffer because that's what this system has come to. It's alright love, I'll be in pain which can cause other issues! No wonder the A&E and 111 services are under so much pressure! A telephone call was all I asked for not face to face! Absolutely appalling and disgraceful. Please can the GP receptionists stop giving medical advice when you are not trained, it is misinformation and will cause harm to those you do. Please can GP's understand that people call for an appointment because they need one! More importantly can GPs understand that by not giving appointments you are causing a ripple effect through the acute services! This is not acceptable! This is not safe! This needs to change! The question is where do I go now! Oh yes, advised to call 111 which to point out also cannot give me the medication I need as it has to be prescribed by MY GP! Seriously? The systems are all wrong! So I'm currently on the phone to 111 to see if they can get me an appointment to speak to my GP, which this action of calling 111 (also in a que) is taking up time for others that need it when mine could have been dealt with with a simple call from MY GP. Please, somebody sort this system out. It is all wrong.
