I brought 10 gel polishes around a month ago and unfortunately they were not fit for purpose. When I initially brought them I was happy to see how much choice Karen had in her shop, the only thing that caused me to question the polishes was the amount of dust that were on them. Karen still allowed me to purchase these products as you will see in the photo; even though I did not have my certificates to hand she still allowed the sale do be processed. Once, I had purchased the gel polishes as with any beautician/ nail tec you can't wait to try your new colours. However, the one nail colour by Claw Culture had huge gloops stuck to the brush, and all the other others had peeled when trying them out. I decided to take them back to the shop and that's when the real problems occurred. Karen was extremely defensive saying that "I don't believe you" and accused me of applying them incorrectly which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and to blame. She refused a refund and her unprofessional and impolite manner to say she has been in the business for 30 years, I was really quite surprised and felt offended by her rude comments and lack of professionalism. Karen also said she would supply the numbers of the nail brands, but said she was too busy to supply them there and then. It certainly seemed that this defensive behaviour was a cover up for the out of date gel polishes she was selling. I would not recommend going to this shop for nail supplies and I shall never be returning again.
