We have camped here for a good few years in the past and loved it, then covid hit and haven't been for a few years, we started to go back up for swimming lessons for the grandchildren and we had forgot how beautiful a place it is. It's set way up a beautiful country lane and opens up to a stunning static caravan and luxury cabin location with everything you need onsite. The pool is a perfect temperature with a jacuzzi on the side small but perfectly formed. The changing rooms are again small but fit for the size of the pool, too. The bar area overlooks the pool and is beautiful with lots of character and charm, and the best thing is dogs are just as welcome as humans. What better place to sit and watch the children swim while having an ice-cold drink and catch up with friends. The site has a great children's play area on bark so it's perfect for all weather's a great sized carpark for residents and visitors alike and the most beautiful meet and greet reception area that is full of beautiful old leather chairs and sofas and lots of features made out of antlers and oldy worldy items. The staff we have spoken to have been so lovely and willing to show us round and happy and chatty. All in all, a perfect country getaway or the perfect country bar to stop at after a long walk with the hounds for a pint and food.
