Restrooms: Clean and warm, and even look good, very well executed site design all round Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly, but keep them on a lead on site as there are chickens and lots of wildlife. Lots of lovely walks to pubs nearby. Great little washing up station/ gathering points with woodburner outside and fuel for sale, perfect for night drinks. Picnic area: Picnic area with woodburner and benches. Beautifully peaceful.

Restrooms: The toilets and washing facilities are spotlessly clean. Dog-friendliness: Great place for dogs. There is a nice dog walking path around the perimeter of the site. Lots of interesting sniffs!

Stayed in Woodpecker Cabin for 4 days with my 8 year old. A truly amazing experience, everything was perfect, spotlessly clean, great facilities (even outdoor showers) and fantastic hosts. This is a must visit camping location, whether its glamping (staying in the pod, shepards hut or cabin) pitching up a tent or using your own caravan or camper. Very peaceful, beautiful views and close to some great pubs and walks within the Quantock Hills. We will definitely be returning. We stayed in three glamping locations whilst on our two week holiday and this was by far the best of them all.

Perfect! The location couldn't be better for getting around the area and out to the beautiful hills. But it was the peace and simplicity of the site, coupled with the warmth and generosity of the hosts, that will ensure we return.

Really nice site with two great pubs nearby, the Farmers Arms and the Rising Sun up the road. One thing I would point out for caravanners is that when you arrive be aware there is very limited turning outside the farm house when you arrive. If you have a large caravan this could be an unhitch job and turn your van around and re-hitch. It would be useful to know what pitch you are on up front to avoid having to go all the way down into the site and have this turning issue. Alternatively its probably best to park up on the grassy area at the entrance to the site where there is plenty of turning space and walk down to check in. The road noise was an issue, especially during the week, less so at the weekend. Also pay attention to the pre-arrival information to find the entrance to the site as it is not immediately obvious. The owners provide fire pits and there is a really good camping table area at the grassy top field of the site which is very social with other campers. The owners have done a really good job with the facilities, another indoor shower would be good as had to use one of the outside ones during busy periods and it was a bit nippy. We would definitely come back to this site as we had a good time.
