What a fantastic instructor Dave is. I had never towed a caravan before and was put at ease by Dave he showed me everything how to hitch the caravan on the back of the vehicle, reversing how to reverse in to a parking space and so much more. Never having towed a caravan, we were a little apprehensive. Once we met Dave we knew that, if anyone could help us, he could. Very thorough with the safety information and very patient with us. Nothing was too much trouble. All aspects were covered from motorway driving to tiny village roads and reversing. Highly recommend, even for the really nervous (like myself).

My wife and I have never owned a caravan before. After years of camping with a trailer tent we are exploring buying a 2 berth caravan. I was anxious about towing and wanted to learn how to do it safely and well. David came highly recommended by the caravan sales team at Highbridge Caravans and I booked a whole day, one-to-one tuition. The training was tailored to my specific needs for the whole day and represented very good value. I am so pleased I decided to learn alone rather than as part of a group. David started with a very helpful and informative explanation of how the various parts of a caravan work and why they do what they do. I learned much from this about the importance of the braking system, loading a caravan safely to assure stability, and general maintenance tips to ensure the caravan is roadworthy. I then experienced towing a caravan for the first time. We started very gently with basic movement forward and reverse in a completely safe space. We then ventured onto the road. Throughout the day I towed a medium sized caravan over 125 miles on roads from tracks to the motorway. At every stage David guided and reminded me to ensure I was getting into good habits and understood why. My confidence to tow increased steadily throughout the day until, at the end I feel ready to buy the right caravan and get started. I cannot praise highly enough the skill with which David taught me to understand why I need to tow in a certain way. This will make me a safer driver protecting me and other road-users.

New to caravanning and wanted to take the stress out of the driving and set up of the caravan. Im glad I did, David provided some vital safety information to ensure our safety when towing. The practical experience was a big confidence boost. Would recommend to everyone to check in with David before embarking on the road with a caravan
