The Weobley & Staunton-On-Wye Surgeries

We are so lucky to have the Doctors and staff we have at Weobley Surgery. I have been a patient there for over 20yrs and always found them all to be helpful, friendly and efficient. I say this having regard to my previous experiences at other surgeries in different areas of the country. Well done to all.

I turned up for my covid/flu vaccination on Saturday and joined the back of a queue stretching down the road. Not ideal when I had chemotherapy the day before and felt dreadful. I probably could have gone to the front of the queue had my husband had said but I didn't want to draw attention to myself or queue jump. When I eventually got to the pharmacy area I went to the woman on the left. She demanded my surname which I gave her. She then shouted "I said surname " to which I again replied. She then quickly reeled through questions and when she'd completed the form she threw it at me like it was a frisbee. It landed on the floor and my husband picked it up. We both SO wanted to say something to her about her appalling attitude but again I didn't want to draw attention. She made me so upset, the last thing I needed.

Absolutely chaotic at last Saturdays vaccination session. Invited for appointment at 11.20 precisely, but found 50-100 people queuing in the street. Not good organisation!

Very good surgeries, have been well-liked after by both. No parking at Weobley except for disabled.
