Good service, well managed, good quality cafe food. Lovely backdrop of childrens and wendover woods on a sunny day Kid-friendliness: Was a bit of a wait, so staff deliberately cooked up my toddlers pancakes before our order to keep him calm, tantrum avoided, nice touch

We had breakfast which came to 49!!! I had pancakes, expecting them to be homemade large crepe style at 9.50. They were the small round ones you get in a packet at the supermarket. My son had a bacon sandwich at 7.50, two bits of bread, 3 bits of bacon. Normal packet bread, not home made or with a nice crust to it. My other son also had pancakes, he only got two and a few cut up bits of strawberry and blueberry. We were all still hungry after we had eaten. I noticed a carton of Apple juice on the shelf in the dining area which I recognised from Aldi. I spoke to the owner and the staff as I was shocked at the total price for basic tasting food and questioned where it was coming from. My pancakes tasted like the ones you buy from Aldi, if this is the case, at that price, that is disgusting. I will say all the staff were friendly but we will not return. Very disappointed.
